Panama City Fishing Reports

Sorry for the lack of up to date reports. Between fishing and boat maintenance we've been extremely busy.
Fishing has been really good offshore with limits of Red Snapper coming very quick. The grouper bite is there we just have to fish deeper water to get them. The powers that regulate the Gulf of Mexico fishery have decided that all Gulf Red Snapper fishing will end this year on Aug.15 so we only have another two weeks before the season closes.Maybe one day someone will straighten this mess out. With the full moon coming this week the Mangrove Snapper bite should really be good this week. On the inshore scene the trout bite has been good with a lot of smaller fish and a few keepers here and there. Flounder fishing has been good on the bars with a lot of keeper size fish,been looking hard for that big "doormat". It will not be long before the redfish start bunching up again making them easier targets.
