Panama City Snapper

With state water snapper fishing coming to a close we've been trying to get out as much as possible.
Fall has arrived here in the panhandle, we left the dock at first light with temps around 40 degrees. Nice thing about these trips are the short run to the fishing spots, leaving the dock at 7 and lines in by 7:20 even with the cooler temps it wasn't a bad ride. We ended up with a 3 man limit of snapper a nice mess of vermillion snappers and a couple of triggerfish. After finishing the snapper limit we switched to large baits to try to top off with a few grouper,hit a few different areas only to have all of our large live baits eaten by 27" amberjack,no keepers but surely a nice way to finish the day.
